Our approach
- Contextual: we always try to consider schemes in their wider context, recognising the demands and aspirations of many stakeholders in any healthcare project.
- Analytical & open-minded: we recognise the importance of evidence-based design, but equally acknowledge the importance of local requirements and the need for project-specific responses.
- Collaborative, facilitating, inclusive: we do not believe in promoting our approach to the exclusion of other voices, but rather seek a negotiated consensus to the demands of any scheme.
- Flexible & sensitive to diverse user requirements: we believe we are responsive to the needs of wide range of participants in healthcare projects, from patients and their carers, to clinicians, managers and service commissioners.
- Explanatory, non-technical: we seek to make our briefing material as intelligible and self-explanatory as possible, avoiding jargon and obfuscation wherever possible.
- Informed by emergent practice & technology: we recognise the ever-changing landscape of clinical practice and seek to underwrite our projects with the flexibility to respond.
